Our Exhibits

Whether you are visiting as a family or as part of a group, the Railway Coastal Museum allows you to experience the fascinating story of the great initiative, courage, and sacrifice involved in building and operating the Newfoundland Railway and Coastal Boat Services.

The Railway Coastal Museum tells this amazing story through:

 * 22 Posters, Biographies, Maps.
 * Automated Train Model

The Railway Coastal Museum is wheelchair accessible with two accessible parking spaces available in the parking lot located next to the museum. There is also a wheelchair available through our front desk for any visitors who may require one.

For the Kids

Located by our front desk is our "Kids' Corner," featuring various scavenger  hunts, word searches and crosswords for the kids to complete as they walk around the museum. Our model train exhibit also features two train play tables for your train enthusiast to enjoy and a small library of books to read to your little one between play and exploring our exhibits.
